Today was... eh. I was off today, and slept late, did laundry... but had a lowgrade sinus headache and pressure all day. i can only stay online a little while at a time because that makes it worse. I've been taking Sudafed, drinking lots of water, keeping the humidifiers going, rinsing with saline, but nothing helps. I'm sure it's probably an infection, but OMG, I don't want to go to the doctor. Our regular doctors are in Eastman(over an hour away) and we still haven't one over here. Anyone have any home remedies? I read about some weird ones(to me, anyway) last night - - swishing oil in your mouth to... collect the germs and bacteria? Two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water three times a day. Garlic juice.

We're watching Miracles tonight. Does anyone remember this? Skeet Ulrich(quite the show-killer), Angus McFadyen(lovely accent) and Marisa Ramirez investigate, well, miracles. I watched it when it was first aired, but J hadn't seen it.

I made a comfort food filled dinner tonight - - meat loaf, potato salad, black eyed peas, macaroni and cheese, and corn bread.

Jebra has bronchitis. I'm now coughing. In other words, I feel your pain. And I share your unwillingness to go to the doctor. Drinking apple cider in warm water won't hurt you and, if you're like me, it will also cut your appetite. Which in my case is a good thing, not that I'm hungry at the moment because I'm not. Gargling with salt water is also a very good practice. Dr. Stone (one of our dentists) tells me that salt makes bacteria explode, and that a salt packet, like you get at the fast food establishment of your choice, is the perfect size for dissolving in 8 ounces of water.

I'm trying the salt water thing. I don't know if it's helped, but it's not hurting. I tried the ACV, too, but can't take the taste.
