Today's good thing

Today's good thing: work was relatively painless today. We had an annoying meeting, but otherwise, I was left alone.

I had one of those customers, though. First thing, a woman looking at reading glasses asked me if we sell the string type holders for them. We don't, we're a small store, and jewelry doesn't either. I told her sometimes sporting goods has them. A few minutes later, I hear her asking someone in jewelry for them, then after that, someone from sporting goods comes over with her, looking for them again. People like that remind me of a child asking the other parent after one has already said no.

This part wasn't posted to FB. My uncle's brother James texted me, and my cousin and his wife. First, he says he went by my uncle's house and the door was unlocked, but nothing was stolen. I'm not sure it was unlocked - - the deadbolt was installed... backwards? so it locks to the right, not the left as it should. He's left the door unlocked because of this before. Anyway, he also said he wants to get together with us on the 18th or 19 to "talk about Eugene." I'm not sure what this has to do with, it could be as simple as a health issue, but it seems ominous to me. I want to keep in touch with him, but if I get accused of anything, I might burn some bridges. Anyway, Hannah has to work Saturday and I have to work Sunday, so she's going to ask if we can do it the next Sunday.

Friday Five

I haven't done one of these in a while.

1. How much slang do you use? A good bit, actually.

2. What are your favorite words? Hmmm... confetti, serenity, epiphany, silver, tinsel, dream, effervescent, grace, joy

3. How much do you curse? A lot.

4. What makes a great conversation? Polite people who let other people talk instead of waiting to speak.

5. How often do you have "deep discussions?" Rarely. Usually with Selina or J.
