We'll have more happy ever afters
June 2nd, 2019
Today's good thing: all of us slept until 9am. I fixed breakfast and we ate a relatively breakfast-related time. Then J headed to Macon to visit his dad. I should've gone, too, but there was so much to do here, and I just can't seem to get enough rest.

I did fun things like laundry, dishes and getting the garbage ready for pickup. I even got spend an hour outside on the porch. Then I made some dinner.

Now I've had a badly needed shower(this heat!) and I'm watching the Deadwood movie.

Thanks for your prayers and good thoughts. J felt better today. His dad is hanging in there. He hasn't had his surgery yet, but is doing as well as can be expected, considering he broke his shoulder, 4 ribs, his left hip, his pelvis in two places and has a fracture to his lower spine.
07:39 pm - Deadwood movie
No spoilers.

Oh, man, that music! I remember the thrill at the beginning of every ep when that music started.

Okay, like I keep saying, everyone is old. Except Trixie and Hearst don't seem to have aged much.

And that dialogue! There is none like it.

11 minutes in, and the first "cocksucker" from Al. Oh, how I've missed him.

Oh, Jane. Oh, Joanie.

Aunt Lou! I've missed her. If only Richardson could be there.

"You ever think of not going straight at a thing, Bulloch?" "No."

Canned peaches, I've even missed you.

Seth still anger management issues, I see.

A sort of sad ending, but all in all, a fitting ending to the series.
