Today's good thing

Today's good thing: okay, it was another not-so-awesome day. Tons of freight, which I expected. I had late price changes, and I did some, but couldn't get to all of them. No section work, no scanning outs. That s**t with the registers not accepting cards. The customers... dear God, some of them are so ignorant.

At lunch, I saw my uncle had called. He claims he can't make a phone call, but if his tv viewing is at stake, he can. The storm messed up his tv last night. I had to send J over after work to see about it. They went and got him another tv, but didn't know until they got back, it also took out the dvd player and the satellite is still messed up. Dish is supposed to be fixing it tomorrow.

Please, please, let tomorrow be better. I should know by now if I have a few good days(and work has been tolerable lately), I'll pay for it later.

And yes, I know these are all first world problems and aren't really problems.

BTW, I called Hannah Friday to see if they were taking my uncle for his pain center appointment, like Joey promised me. She said she would have to get back to me this week about it. I called her while I was at my uncle's, and she said this out loud(I'm sure she didn't mean to): "I'm so glad I turned over doing his bills and all that to you." Really? If we end up taking him to Macon on Friday, I'm considering asking them if I get my uncle to leave everything to them, will they start taking him again? I don't mind doing the bills, and changing his sheets and calling in refills and filling pill containers, especially since I've started going there every other week. But this Macon thing is always an all-day thing.

I am so bitchy this week I can't even stand myself.
